Jesse(ca) Aragon* is a writer of sci-fi and fantasy. She loves deconstructed tropes, morally complicated protagonists, bittersweet endings, and stories that dive deep into religion, trauma, and mental illness. She grew up overseas, and “home” for her is everywhere from Brussels, Belgium to Albuquerque, New Mexico. She’s been making up stories since she could talk. When she’s not writing, she enjoys powerlifting, drawing, and watching horror movies. She cooks amazing posole and wants to believe in UFOs. She has a BA in Psychology from CU Boulder, and has been an ER tech, an EMT-I, and most recently an RN/BSN. Her jobs have consistently been much stranger than any fiction she writes. She currently resides in St. Louis with her cat, Rosie.
